Our Company is looking to fill a full time position for a skilled and experienced Quality Assurance Manager. With a strong focus on product quality and safety, company takes pride in their ability to deliver end to end solutions for any project from simple structural fabrication to bridge girders.
Company requires a professional and experienced Quality Assurance Manager to plan, organise, direct, control and coordinate the deployment of quality systems and certification processes within the organisation. Must have comprehensive knowledge of welding standards to AS 1554, fabrication standards to AS4100 and specific knowledge of welded products range of structural steel in accordance with AS/NZS 3679.2 (Welded I Sections). RMS specifications knowledge would be given an advantage.
Minimum Requirements:
3+ years' experience in a similar role, and/ or either a Diploma or higher. If you are a reliable, self-motivated, highly organised person with a positive attitude then this role is for you.
In this role your main responsibilities include:
- Review the Quality management system
- Manage the Quality Systems
- Coordinate certification processes
- Develop robust processes to ensure product is delivered on-time, of the desired quality, and in a safe manner.
- Review and approve quality documents
- Organize internal and external audits for both production and the business
- Checking of raw materials for compliance with specifications
- Inspect product at all stages of fabrication for quality of welding and dimensional tolerances
- Inspection of surface preparation and coatings
- Identifying and recording non-conformance
- Performing detailed analysis and subsequent resolution of any non-conformance
- Perform Internal Quality Audits
- Root cause analysis of production quality issues
- Minimize the impact to the environment during production
- Ensure the culture of continuous improvement is developed and maintained
